Event Handling Example - eventHandling (CS3-AS3)

Demonstration focused on the organization principals of working in flash. Important ideas included storing and retreiving varible data (User Scores), communicating between movie clips using _root. and _parent. in AS2 and using event listeners in AS3, and a general review or creating buttons and other flash elements. Students were instructed to complete the demonstration file by creating a fourth player.

After the demonstration the students had a choice to continue exploring the example file or research thier class projects.
